Le groupe musical Illustratosphere a été créé en 1999 autour de Dan Bárta, Filip Jelínek et Miroslav Chyška. Ils ont obtenu le prix Czech Music Awards pour leur premier album éponyme (2000). Dan Bárta est un personnage incontournable de la scène tchèque et leur musique est une synthèse des différents genres musicaux. Actuellement, ils sont six - avec le contrebassiste Robert Balzar et le batteur Martin Valihora (SK). Leur musique est très riche et toujours surprenante et fait découvrir des univers inconnus. Ce groupe s'est produit sur scène en République tchèque et à l'étranger. Dan Bárta a obtenu le prix Czech Music Awards onze fois.
